After I had scaled down my traveling a little and spent the first few months of 2017 in Switzerland (and thus, by the way, successfully fulfilled one of my New Year’s resolutions), in mid-April it was time for a little road trip. Seraina got some days off over the Easter weekend and my parents let us use their car so we decided to spend a long weekend in France. Our first lunch stop was Annecy, a beautiful small city not far from the Swiss border.
Just a few days after I got back from Lisbon, I went to Paris with Seraina. Eiffel Tower, Montmartre, Le Marais… We did do a little bit of sightseeing, but our main focus was on exploring the city’s excellent and diverse food and coffee scene as well as just relaxing and taking a break. It would be my last time to shoot the Hasselblad for a few months. After we got back, I soon started to work on my web documentary series, which has pretty much taken up all my time. More about this soon.
We took a trip to Nice in Southern Franca over the Easter weekend to enjoy a litte sun and the beach. The sun didn't come out too often and the beach was closed for some kind of renovation on the first day. The (really expensive) city of Nice has a nice (haha) small oldtown and a beautiful harbor.
